Joint operations: Iraqi F-16 Aircraft Continue against ISIS Dens Under The Supervision Of Iraqi Technicians

Baghdad

The Joint Operations Command confirmed that the Iraqi F-16 aircrafs continue to carry out duties against the ISIS terrorist gangs.

“The talk about the stoppage of the F-16s is untrue, incorrect and inaccurate,” said operations spokesman Major-General Tahsin al-Khafaji, in a press statement, noting that “Iraqi technicians are the ones who are preparing and equipping F-16s.” He added, “The Iraqi pilots are performing their duties in the best way,” noting that “the Air Force Command continues to carry out missions and operations against ISIS’s terrorist dens.”

Media outlets reported on the stoppage of Iraqi F16 aircraft, after American experts withdrew from Balad air base north of Baghdad.
