The Constitutional Amendments Committee Holds Its First Meeting In Parliament

The Constitutional Amendments Committee held its first meeting in parliament today.

last Night Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi held a meeting of security leaders in the presence of the heads of the House of Representatives and the Supreme Judiciary.

A statement by the Prime Minister’s Media Office said that Abdul Mahdi held a meeting last night for security leaders in the presence of Supreme Judicial Council Speaker Faiq Zidan, Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbousi, and Defense Ministers Najah al-Shammari and Interior Minister Yassin al-Yasiri.

The meeting affirmed the support of the judicial and legislative authorities to the efforts of the government and security agencies to impose security and stability throughout the country, protect demonstrators and private and public property and economic facilities and ensure the regularity of work and smooth flow of citizens.
