DOZENS OF VILLAGERS BEGAN TO LEAVE THEIR HOMES WITH THE START OF THE MOSUL BATTLE

DISPLACED-FAMILIES
Dozens of villagers in the south of Mosul began to leave their homes with the start of Al-Fateh military operation which is waged by the Iraqi Joint Forces to liberate the governorate from the control of ISIL.

The Iraqi Security forces received about two hundred displaced families from the south of Mosul area, most of them are women and children.

A medical and humanitarian services and food was provided to those families in coordination with the civil society and humanitarian organizations. The Iraqi officials confirmed that they are ready to receive more displaced people with the progress of the battles.
