(ARA news agency ) The US has increased the initial $10 million reward offer to $25 million in order to capture ISIS supreme leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, coalition officials said on Friday.
“ISIS leaders being killed one-by-one. Their so-called ‘caliph’ not far behind. New $25M reward for Baghdadi,” anti-ISIS envoy Brett McGurk said.
The US-led coalition said that it killed three ISIS leaders responsible for the Paris attacks in an airstrike in Raqqa two days ago.
Moreover, ISIS spokesperson and senior leader Mohammed al-Adnani was killed in al-Bab in late August, this while Omar al-Shishani, a red-bearded ethnic Chechen from Georgia who was considered to be ISIS second-in-command, died fighting in the town of Shirqat south of Mosul in July this year.
