AIR STRIKES KILL 18 ISIL “LEADERS” IN LAST MONTH – U.S. MILITARY

(Reuters) Air strikes by coalition aircraft have killed 18 ISIL “leaders” in the last 30 days, 13 of them in Mosul, Iraq, a U.S. military spokesman said on Thursday.

Colonel John Dorrian, a spokesman for U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria, told a Pentagon briefing that many of those targeted were military commanders, foreign fighter facilitators and communication leaders for ISIL.
