Al-Rafidan operations command launched the first unmanned plane that is remotely controlled to monitor the southern borders of the Iraqi governorate including Muthanna, Dhi Qar, Maysan and Wasit.

The operations command statement said that the commander of the Iraqi operations, Gen. Jamil Al-Shammari launched the first unmanned plane driven remotely by security personnel specialists to monitor Iraq’s southern governorate boundaries. The statement stressed, that the drones will survey the border between Baghdad Operations Command and the leadership of Iraq operations, as well as to monitor the border between the southern governorates and neighboring countries, including Saudi Arabia.
